Falafels in Hamburg

Well, it's nice to be able to ride bikes in Hamburg again...it's been only about seven months since I rode my bike here. The grey, wintery weather isn't too conducive to rambling around on my bicycle...or maybe I'm just too American. Often, outside, it'll be 5 degrees (Celsius...look it up), misty, damp, and breezy...and my colleagues at IconMedialab are calmly riding their three- or five-speed bikes to work.

One of the nice things about Germany is the proliferation of bike paths. Here, actually, they are part of the sidewalk...and the rider has the right of way over the pedestrian. One thing you don't really have to worry about is getting sideswiped while riding, because you're basically on the sidewalk.
